I sincerely and warmly felicitate with the indigenes of the Owo Kingdom in Ondo State and Kabiyesi, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III (Ilufemiloye 1) on the occasion of your one year coronation anniversary.
The one year anniversary of ascension to the traditional stool of Olowo of Owo, is indeed a period of remarkable advancement, as Oba Gbadegesin convincingly proved his unequalled grace of GOD in bringing to the fore, the real essence of leadership, among his subjects.
Clearly, all aspects of human endeavours in ensuring peace, unity, progress and development of the people of Owo, have been employed and explored by the traditional ruler to bring succour to his Kingdom, to the admiration of all and sundry.
As a cardinal basis for development, in just a year, Oba Gbadegesin has been able to practically resolve issues around youths’ restiveness, gangsterism and idleness with employment and mentality transformation, championed by Oba Gbadegesin’s thoughtfulness and responsive dispositions.
The cultural and socio-economic sphere of the ancient town has not been left unattended to, as the aspect has apparently become a source of attraction, enjoyment and fulfilment to the people, just in the last one year.
The political landscape of Owo also has received a boost as the usual confusion tendencies to choosing a trusted leader has been eschewed completely by the leadership prowess and Solomonic wisdom of Oba Gbadegesin.
Kabiyesi, your giant strides in spite of obvious and attendant challenges are pointers to the veracity of the clear-cut direction to lead the people aright, at a critical period of Nigeria’s political evaluation, such as this. Oba Gbadegesin has truly proven his dynamic ability in resolving issues as a leader, a trusted role model and a genuine father to all.
Your deed sparks express encomiums every moment, as your first year on the stool of your forbears has witnessed tremendous achievements in the interest of your subjects, the kingdom and the stool, as a reference point for posterity.
Kabiyesi, no words can express or quantify the worthiness of your strive and zeal to turn the heritage of your forefathers to a World-class Centre of attraction and a gain for the up and coming generations.
