HON. GRACE ENIOLA OMOTOSO ADMONISHES YOUTHS TO AVOID COMPLACENCY, BE DETERMINED FOR A GLORIOUS FUTURE
The Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor, Sen. Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, on Market Affairs, Hon. Mrs Grace Eniola Omotoso has admonished the youths to be determined and focused towards a better future, no matter the present challenges.
This was part of her remarks at the Obokun Youth Conference, Volume 1, by the Obokun People’s Congress, held at Ajayi Memorial Hall, Ibokun on Easter Monday.
Hon. Omotoso who maintained that the true definition of ‘youth’ depends on the individual’s state of mind, charged them to take God first in all their engagements and be busy doing something reasonable, at all times.
The Special Adviser who also availed the opportunity of Easter period and gifted some women of Obokun Local Government, stated that “self-esteem, Godliness not with complacency and self-confidence are key factors to rise above attendant impediments to a glorious future”.
According to her, “do not be idle as an idle hand is the devil’s workshop. Get something doing and be determined that you will get to your glorious future”.
The Youth Conference with the theme “Nurturing the next generation: Pathways to empower Obokun Youths for sustainable impact” featured Keynote Speeches, Panel Discussion and Network Sessions.
In attendance were the father of Obokun People’s Congress, Member, House of Representatives, Hon Oluwole Oke, Member, Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi Irekandu, notable speakers and entrepreneurs in society.
