INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT SUMMIT: A PATHWAY FOR OSUN’S ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION – BUNMI JENYO

The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo has described the forthcoming Industrial Investment Summit as a roadmap for economic transformation and advancement for the people of Osun State.
This assertion was made while receiving the Senior Political Adviser of the British High Commission, Wale Adebajo who paid him a private visit in his office in Osogbo on Friday.
The Commissioner noted that the summit was originally designed to deliver on the mandate of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, to industrialize Osun State.
This, according to him, will change Osun’s economic narrative of depending solely on civil service to a State loaded of productive industries and investments from local and international organizations.
Meanwhile, in preparation for the Summit scheduled to hold between 11th to 13th September, 2024, the Commissioner is billed to meet with the British High Commission in Lagos soon.
Hopefully during the meeting, discussions will be held, fine-tuned and agreed on what and how the commission will contribute it’s quota for the success of the Osun Industrial Investment Summit 2024.
The three-day event will also serve as an opportunity for exchange of ideas, experiences and expertise for mutual benefits of Osun State and investors across all walks of life.
