TRICORD LIMITED SEEKS PARTNERSHIP WITH OSUN GOVERNMENT IN RENEWABLE ENERGY, WASTE MANAGEMENT, OTHERS

Tricord Limited has concluded arrangements to partner with the Osun State government on the basis of Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Education, Health, ICT, Renewable Energy, Waste Management and Quarry Mining.
This disclosure was made during a meeting of the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo and the Managing Director of the Tricord Limited, who also doubles as the lead Consultant to the Alternative Bank Plc, Mr. Adebowale Ayoade.
The Commissioner, while speaking in his office on Friday, assured the company of the State government’s open-door policy and readiness to encourage both local and international investors.
In a letter of request for a partnership presented to the State government, through the Commissioner, the financial implications will be handled by the Alternative Bank Plc while the government will provide the enabling environment for their business interests to thrive.
In the letter signed by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Managing Director, Hassan Yusuf and the Executive Director, Korede Demola-Adeniyi, the Alternative Bank Plc has identified investment opportunities in varying sectors of the economy in Osun State.
The Alternative Bank Plc is a non-interest and ethical banking subsidiary of the Sterling Financial Holdings Company.
According to the Alternative Bank’s intention letter to the State Government through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Bank is open to funding and execution of other priority projects for the State.
“By nature of our mandate, we invest in projects and run them for profit with our stakeholders. We have identified such opportunities in Osun State and will appreciate to be part of your transformational agenda”, the letter read in part.
“Our presence spans approximately ten states across the federation, where we have successfully funded and managed Public Private Partnership initiatives”.
“We respectfully request an opportunity to demonstrate how our Bank can contribute to the success story of your administration”, the Commissioner was told.
