THEY TRIED, BUT GOD PASSED THEM ALL – GOVERNOR ADELEKE SPEAKS ON CHALLENGES AND TRIUMPHS
My dear people of Osun State,
They tried all they could to stop me from delivering the true dividends of democracy to you. They deployed every tactic—lies, distractions, even withholding the statutory funds meant for your development—all in a bid to derail the good work we started together.
But they forgot one thing: I serve a living God who never fails. Despite their efforts, God showed His power. Every plan they made against our progress failed, because when you’re on the side of the people and backed by divine grace, no obstacle can stand in your way.
They called me names. They said I was just a dancer and not educated. But today, by the special grace of God, those same people are witnesses to the transformation happening across Osun State—from infrastructure to education, health, and beyond.
I’m deeply grateful to my family for their unwavering support, and to the good people of Osun for standing firm with me. Your love and belief in our vision give me strength every single day.
As your Governor, I remain committed to fulfilling every promise I made. I pray that the Almighty continues to guide me as I work to turn our collective dreams into reality.
