REV. BUNMI JENYO APPLAUDS GOVERNOR ADELEKE’S DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES IN ILA-ORANGUN, OSUN STATE

The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, has extended heartfelt commendation to the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for his transformative leadership, particularly as it relates to the dualisation of the Ila-Orangun township road and other people-oriented projects taking place across the State.
Describing the project as both timely and deeply impactful, Rev. Jenyo noted that the people of Ila-Orangun and neighbouring communities are not only witnessing a major infrastructural breakthrough but are also experiencing a renewed sense of belonging and recognition under Governor Adeleke’s administration.
“This road project represents more than concrete and asphalt; it stands as a testament to responsive governance. Ila-Orangun had long awaited this kind of intervention, and now we are grateful to witness the dawn of a new era of development. It is a project that will serve generations and stimulate lasting prosperity,” he said.
Rev. Jenyo lauded Governor Ademola Adeleke for his leadership style, which prioritizes inclusive development, rural transformation, and balanced infrastructural spread across the state. According to him, the Governor has displayed a rare level of sincerity, empathy, and determination to uplift all zones — regardless of political affiliations or geography.
“What Governor Adeleke is building is not just infrastructure, but a legacy of equity and fairness. Ila-Orangun and its people will never forget this moment in our history. We feel seen, valued, and prioritized,” he added.
The Commissioner further emphasized the practical benefits of the dualised road, including improved mobility, better access to markets, reduced transportation stress, and increased investment potential. He stated that the economic and social ripple effects of such a project would be felt far beyond the township itself.
“This project will boost trade, enhance transportation, and attract more economic opportunities to our area. It is a game-changer for local businesses, transport operators, farmers, and residents. It will also serve as a vital link in the broader development agenda of Osun State,” he remarked.
He encouraged all residents of Ila-Orangun and the surrounding local government areas to reciprocate the Governor’s gesture with unity, loyalty, and active community support. According to Rev. Jenyo, the continuity of Governor Adeleke’s administration is essential to consolidate these gains and complete many more life-changing initiatives.
“This is a time for all of us — elders, youths, traders, and leaders — to stand as one. Let us appreciate this government by supporting it wholeheartedly. Development like this must not be interrupted; it must be preserved and allowed to grow,” he urged.
In his concluding remarks, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo offered fervent prayers for the continued strength, wisdom, and protection of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. He expressed hope that the Governor’s positive impact on Osun State would earn him the opportunity to return to office in 2026 and complete the progressive journey he has begun.
“I pray that the Almighty GOD will continue to grant Governor Adeleke divine wisdom, good health, and the courage to keep doing what is right for the people. May his leadership be sustained beyond 2026 so that the good works already started can be completed and multiplied across every corner of Osun State,” he said.
