BUNMI JENYO BACKS GOVERNOR ADELEKE, AFFIRMS LOYALTY IN NEW PARTY
The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo has congratulated the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on his successful porting into the ACCORD from his former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Commissioner also affirmed his unalloyed loyalty, support and commitment to Governor Adeleke, saying his passion, determination and resilience to transform Osun State, cannot be treated with a hand of levity.
Dr. Jenyo made the declaration in Osogbo on Tuesday shortly after Mr. Governor’s announcement that he has ported into the ACCORD to pursue his reelection on 8th August, 2026.
Governor Adeleke’s disclosure has cleared the anxious suspense of the Osun people, who have been eagerly waiting to know the specific political platform where he would seek reelection bid, having resigned from the PDP on 4th November, 2025.
The Commissioner therefore applauded the Asiwaju of Edeland for his painstaking efforts, humanity and determination to liberate Osun State and its citizens from the grip of backwardness, maladministration and selfishness of some politicians.
According to the Commissioner, “Congratulations Your Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. You have made another bold step in the spirit of good governance, acceptable leadership standards and the transformation of our dear State”.

BUNMI JENYO CELEBRATES OSUN FIRST LADY ON HER 60TH BIRTHDAY

The Commissioner who described the First Lady as a strong pillar to the Governor of Osun State, Sen. (Dr.) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, said Chief (Mrs.) Adeleke is a special creature of the Almighty GOD, whose passion for people’s welfare cannot be underestimated.

DR. OLUKUNLE ABIMBOLA BAGS DOCTORATE IN DIVINITY AT INTERNATIONAL BIBLE ACADEMY, USA
The Celica Church of Christ Administrator, Anointed Prophet Dr. Olukunle Ayobami Abimbola, has been conferred a Doctorate in Divinity by the prestigious International Bible Academy, United States of America (USA).
The institution, licensed in New York and Colorado, awarded Dr. Abimbola the honour on Saturday, 25th October, 2025 at the Conference Hall, Chapel of Christ, University of Lagos.
The Institute graduated students in Certificate in Applied Ministry (DPS), Diplomas, Post Graduate Diplomas, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Murphy Akrasi PH.D., D.D, the President/Chancellor of the institute, said, the academy is an independent institute in USA and Nigeria with the vision to duplicate the ministry of Jesus Christ by raising army of true spiritual leaders, strong in the word of faith and with the fire of God.
The Chancellor said, the institution was born specifically to train people in God‘s ways and God’s works for the purpose of launching a new wave of true anointed leaders into the body of Christ.
Dr. Abimbola is a versatile writer, historian, researcher, and Biblical Scholar with extensive experience in public service and religious organisations.
He is also a Doctoral Research Fellow of the Corporate Institute of Strategic Research (CISR) Global.
He has participated in numerous specialised training programmes, conferences, and seminars, locally and internationally and has served as his church’s focal person to prominent ecumenical bodies such as the Organisation of African Instituted Churches, the All Africa Conference of Churches, Nairobi, Kenya, and the World Council of Churches, Geneva, Switzerland.
Over the years, Dr. Abimbola has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication, earning numerous prestigious awards.

GOVERNOR ADELEKE: THREE YEARS OF MONUMENTAL ACHIEVEMENTS, IMPACTS
The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo has poured out encomium, applause and unprecedented eulogy to the Executive Governor of the State, His Excellency, the Asiwaju of Edeland, Sen. (Dr.) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

The Commissioner who described Governor Ademola Adeleke as a destiny-child and GOD’s special gift, not only to Osun State but also to humanity, emphasized that he (Adeleke) remains the best hand in the helm of affairs, since the creation of the State.
According to Rev. Dr. Jenyo, the three-year old administration of Governor Adeleke has surpassed that of his predecessors, in terms of infrastructure, worker’s welfare, health, education, agriculture and indeed, the industrialisation of Osun’s economy.
The viable policies, positive willpower in the positive direction, decision-making in the interest of the electorate and monumental achievements with direct impact on the people, indeed are some of the cardinal factors that endeared the Asiwaju of Edeland to the hearts of the Osun people.
In all the nooks and crannies of the State and beyond, the soaring popularity, genuine affection, warm embrace and positive vibes of the masses, towards Mr. Governor are the credence to the meritorious performance, good governance and compassionate leadership which he has provided.
In the whole of Nigeria today, the “Imole” of the universe has distinguished himself as a responsible, responsive and level-headed leader whose reputation cannot be trampled, erased or ignored, even by critics or and naysayers.
Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the space of three years, has placed Osun in the world map, as a pedestal of excellence, passionate leadership and good governance. He has displayed competence about the best style of democracy that gladdens the hearts of the masses, every second and everywhere.
Genuine accountability, transparency and humanity which Mr. Governor had adopted, since the inception of his administration has taught whoever is craving for power how a people should be governed. This is in the admiration of everyone, especially in Osun State.
All in all, it suffices to conclude that the Osun people are simply in love with Governor Adeleke and his leadership, despite the propaganda, bitterness and unfounded criticism of the agents of backwardness. The masses have tasted the good, the bad and the ugly and are prepared to accordingly stand by the Governor who is above board in paddling the canoe of their destinies and lives, in responsible governance for another tenure of office, beginning from 2026 – 2030.

Authorities of the KIDVARC Nursery, Primary and High Schools, Iree has announced activities for the 40th anniversary of KIDVARC Nursery and Primary School and 30th anniversary of the KIDVARC High School both in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.
Also, the 15th remembrance anniversary of the Proprietor of the schools, Dr Samuel Oyedokun Omotoso will be held during the anniversary celebration.
A statement released by the chairman media and publicity committee of the Anniversary Central Planning Committee, Pastor Bamigbola Gbolagunte indicated that the anniversary activities will kick off on Thursday, 11th December, 2025 with a press conference at Ojuolape hall, KIDVARC schools, Iree by 11am.
The commissioning of projects executed in the schools will hold on Friday, 12th December, 2025 and this will be followed by the alumni dinner and reunion programme organized for the alumni of the schools.
The grand finale of the anniversary celebration will hold on Saturday, 13th December, 2025 with the launching of a book entitled “50 years of talking and chalking” written by Late Dr S.O Omotoso and anniversary lecture at the Leisure Spring Hotel, Iwo/Ibadan road, Osogbo by 10.00am.
Also, the remembrance service for the late founder of the school, Dr Samuel Oyedokun Omotoso will hold on the day at the same venue with eminent personalities expected to grace the occasion.
Expected at the event are the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi and other members of the State Executive Council.
Also expected are traditional rulers from across different parts of the country, stakeholders in the education sector, current and past students of KIDVARC schools, Iree and old students of the then Oyo State College of Education now Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun where the late Dr. Omotoso served as pioneer Provost.
The late Dr. Omotoso was Secretary to the Osun State Government during the first civilian government of late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke and he contributed his best to the development of the state, especially the education sector.

Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has urged the people of Osun State to use the opportunities, knowledge and connections obtained at the 2025 Trade Fair to break barriers into the advanced level of business transactions, not only in Nigeria but also across the globe.
The Governor stated this at the closing ceremony of Osun Trade Fair 2025, held at the Aje International Market, Ido-Osun on Tuesday.
Represented by his Deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi who expressed happiness over the success of the annual event, said that the venue has been alive with the energy of commerce, new partnerships, knowledge sharing and the resilient spirit of the Osun people.

OSUN TRADE FAIR 2025: GOVERNOR ADELEKE, FG COMMITTED TO POSITION LOCAL CONTENT FOR GLOBAL MARKET
The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has disclosed the readiness of his administration to work closely with Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) to open wider channels for made-in-Osun goods in the international markets.
Governor Adeleke made this known at the opening ceremony for the 2025 Osun Trade Fair, held at Aje International Market, Ido-Osun, Osun State.
The Governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Bobagunwa Teslim Igbalaye stated that Adeleke’s administration is ready to partner with development agencies and private investors to strengthen small and medium enterprises, noting that Osun-made products, which include honey, cocoa, garri, adire black soap and crafts already meet global standards, as they remain some of the best in the country.
“We are also establishing industrial clusters and Agro-processing zones in a bid to increase production and add value. We believe strongly that these facilities will position Osun as a leading hub for agro-allied and creative industries in the Southwest.”
In his welcome address, the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo highlighted the event as a vibrant showcase of Osun State’s resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.
He said under the visionary leadership of Governor Adeleke, Osun is undergoing a systemic transformation in its commercial and industrial sectors through policies aimed at innovation, investment attraction and inclusive economic growth.
“In Osun , we are prepared”, the Commissioner stated, outlining a strategy focused on strengthening local industries and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, enhancing value addition to meet international standards.
Rev. Dr. Jenyo also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to support local producers of famous Adire fabrics, artisans, food processors and farmers who form the backbone of Osun’s economy, promising continued support for expansion, job creation and export.

GOVERNOR ADELEKE HOSTS CHINESE INVESTORS, SAYS OSUN FREE TRADE ZONE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state has flaunted Osun business opportunities and high scores on the ease of doing business rating, calling on genuine investors to establish business at the Osun Free Trade zone.
The governor made the appeal while hosting a delegation of multi-sectoral investors from China who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Osogbo on Thursday evening.
Governor Adeleke told the delegation that Osun is bridging infrastructural deficit to ease the business environment while the state’s Free Trade Zone has several openings for willing investors.
According to the governor, a number of investors have commenced activities at the Trade Zone and other industrial hubs across the state, commending the Chinese delegation for selecting Osun state as an investment destination.
“You are warmly welcome to the state of the living spring. We are fixing our roads, bridges, schools, utilities, health infrastructures among others. We know good infrastructure facilitates business and economic growth. Hence, we are reducing Osun infra deficit.
“We harmonise and automate our tax regime. This has reduced the pressure on Osun businesses. We implemented a 48 hours regime for acquisition of certificates of occupancy (CofO) under an automated regime. Our ease of doing business rating is very high.
“So you have come to the right place. Our Ministry of commerce and industry is run by a team with international exposure. You will be granted the best of support and facilitation services by our government“, the governor told the delegation.
Speaking on behalf of the management of Shanghai Fadewei International Trade Company Limited, Dr. Yusuf Fadairo said the Chinese team picked Osun state because of two reasons, namely their love for David Adeleke (Davido) and multiple reports of good governance delivered by the Osun State governor.
Fadairo stated that Davido is so popular in China than even Nigeria, a situation he said also facilitated interest of many Chinese in the Osun state governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
According to him, reports about the wonderful performance of Governor Adeleke across media platforms marked Osun out as a safe investment destination, assuring that the company is interested in securing up multiple factories at the Osun state free trade zone.
“We have inspected the zone and we are satisfied with the utilities and facilities. We are set to act once all other regulatory issues are concluded”, he noted.
