As Muslims across the world celebrate the 2022 Eid-El-fitri, Hon. Adeyeeba Ebenezer has congratulated Muslims and all residents of Ipetumodu as well as staff of Ife North local government area of Osun State.

In a statement issued out by the Head Of Department (HOD), Social Development and Information, Mrs Bisi Silas, Hon. Adeyeeba urged Muslims to maintain the acts of kindness shown to needy families and others during the Holy Month of Ramadan and continue to pray for peace in Osun State.

‘‘For thirty straight days, we have practiced generosity; we have shown compassion and acts of kindness to others without prompting, we must sustain this as it will help to promote peace in the society”, he said.

Hon. Adeyeeba also described Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as a performing Governor who has been using his wealth of experience as a dexterous administrator to transform the state beyond expectations.

He, however commended the governor for working tirelessly to ensure that the state moves to greater heights.

He urged the people of Ife North local government, to please vote for the governor for second term in office, come July 16, to continue his good work.

Hon. Adeyeeba also use the occasion to pray for his people, “May the crescent-shaped moon brighten your path towards enlightenment and may Allah bless you all with peace and grace.
May this Ramadan bring joy, health and wealth to you.
One good turn deserves another, Governor Gboyega Oyetola deserves second term in office”, he said

OSUN 2022 : I WILL DECLARE STATE OF EMERGENCY IN EDUCATION SECTOR IF ELECTED – ADESUYI

Barely few months to the governorship election in Osun state, the candidate for Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Engr. Olufemi Adesuyi has assured of priotizing educational sector to build an enviable future for the state.

He said, the previous and present administration in the state have bastardized the sector to the extent that, the state have recorded backwardness in the comity of states educationally.

Adesuyi while speaking with newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday averred that, his administration if elected will reposition what he described as bartered system of education to suit the world standard.

He said, having being in Educational System for more than 2 decades and as immediately past Director of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance in a polytechnic, he know the importance of education and why education is the key to wealth creation.

“I believed that, Education begat knowledge, kwnoledge begat Power, and Power begat wealth. Governance should not be about extortion but rather concern on wealth creation. The bedrock of wealth creation is Education. We will drive the educational sector technologically and with improve technopreneurship curriculum” he said.

Adesuyi posited that, any administration in power that failed to consider quantitative and qualitative education as essential tools to build humanity has fail in it’s quest to develop such state, therefore advocate for the need to change the perception of the people towards voting any party that doesn’t cater for the future of their children.

Adesuyi said, his administration if voted will invite stakeholders in education to map out strategies on how to revamp the education sector in the state and their resolution will serve as template to follow in revatilizing the sector to meet up with the world standard.

He however, urged the people of the state to wise up and not allow money bag politicians to again steal their future and that of their children, saying the only party who can rescue them from the maladministration of the ruling APC is Zenith Labour Party.

5-YEAR REMEMBRANCE: PDP GROUP SALUTES POLITICAL DOGGEDNESS OF SENATOR ISIAKA ADELEKE

As it clocked 5 years of departure of the late political guru, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke today, a socio political group within Osun state chapter of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, The Pathfinder Team has saluted the political doggedness of the late sage in the area of good governance.

The group in a statement issued and signed by its state coordinator, Secretaryand chairman Board of Trustee, Hon.Oladiti Aluko, Akinleye Sola and Alhaji Lukman Afolabi respectively to commemorate the 5th year departureof the Ede born politician attributed the success recorded by late Isiaka Adeleke during his life time to his passion for human development.

According to the group, late Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke lived an examplanry life full of human development, the legacy they said still live after him.

They said, his death is not in vain as the people of the state recognized his good deed and transferred the love to his brother, Senator Ademola Adeleke who has continued from where the late sage stopped.

On this day, 23rd April, 2017, the eagle flew home in a blaze of glory and the world, literarily stood still, the death of my father, mentor and political teacher, Senator(Alhaji) Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke was announced. Alas!!! It was like the whole world had collapsed! The bird ceased to fly, there was a perfect decorum every where.

Five years after your glorious exit, your spirit continues to enjoy peace of the Almighty God, together with the unfailing and unalloyed loyalty of your well-wishers.

I have painstakingly taken your exit to the great beyond as a cross and hurdles of my life which I have to bear with equanimity.

Your unequivocal attitude and mentorship can not be quantified, Oh! I have missed your fatherly advice, your political sagacity, and your generosity.

You taught me how to be kind with people. Your humility is second to none. Who will be my guardian now? From whom will I tap priceless knowledge now? Oh death, where is thy sting?

There is no second of dull moment for your sweet memory. Each passing day keeps you evergreen in my mind. Why not, if not? Your workerholic habit taught me to be strong in all my dealings and encourage me to attain the ladder I am in life.

As governorship election in Osun state is gathering momentum, a House of Representatives aspirant for Iwo/Ayedire/Olaoluwa federal constituency on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Olumide Adeniji has opined that, continuity of good governance in the state under the leadership of governor Adegboyega Oyetola will bring more development to the state, urging the electorate in the state to vote massively for ruling APC government.

Adeniji stated this while speaking with the newsmen in Osogbo on Monday.

According to him, the present administration in the state has excel in all areas especially infrastructural development and efficient resources management.

He said, changing the moving train now will not do the state any good as a lots were embedded in governance which Oyetola has become master in it.

Adeniji posited that, governor Oyetola’s administration has become a rally point for effective and good governance which has placed the state on the highest pedestal in the comity of states.

The Kuta born politician enjoined the people of the state to rally support for the continuity of Oyetola’s administration till 2026 , adding that, the state would witness more development under the administration of the governor more in his second term.

The Chairman of Ife North Local Government, Ipetumodu, Hon. Ayoola Ebenezer Adeyeeba has congratulated Christians in the council and the good people in Osun State on the celebration of resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Hon. Adeyeeba in his Easter message said,
“when we truly love a person from the depth of our heart, we will respect that person and will not want to cause the person pain. Our attitude to life should either show God that we love Him and have Him as our one and only God. We show God that we love Him by keeping His commandments and by respecting the sacredness of the temple of which we are and represent”.

“We must not let our familiarity with God’s house breed contempt, instead, we must try to show God respect by doing that which will please Him and give glory to His holy name”.

“Learn to separate between the secular and the sacred, and always work hard to build up yourself in such a way that give respect to God and His commandments. This comes first above every other thing you may desire in this life”.

The Council boss also described the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as a man of peace whose impact in the transformation of Osun can not be quantified.

He adjuged Governor Oyetola as a silent achiever who has touched the lives of the people of the state positively through his various developmental programmes and policies.

”To our performing Governor, I want to use this opportunity to appeal to my people in Ipetumodu and Osun State to support our amiable Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola in bid to transform the State to the greater heights”, he said.

Honourable Adeyeeba urged his people to pray for the success of APC in the forthcoming Gubernatorial Election.

EBURU CONGRATULATES OMISORE

The Eburu of Iba, Oba (Prof.) Adekunle Adeogun Okunoye Oyedeji II has congratulated the former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore on his emergence as the National Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The monarch in a congratulatory message to Omisore describes the new APC National Secretary as an illustrious son of Osun State and a foremost leader with royality.
