Bunmi Jenyo denies claim that Jegede may lose October 10 Guber polls in Ondo

BUNMI JENYO DEBUNKS CLAIM THAT BARR. EYITAYO JEGEDE MAY LOSE IN ONDO GUBER

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Osun State, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo has debunked a claim by the enemies within that he cautioned the party’s candidate in Ondo State, Bar. Eyitayo Jegede, not to waste his money in the October 10 gubernatorial election.

Immediately the news of Rev. Jenyo’s unanimous adoption in Osun Central Senatorial District filtered, his political adversaries hit the social media to discredit the party leader, a former Zonal Secretary in the South West, to make a meretricious political score.

Recall that Rev. Jenyo, last weekend spoke with Newsmen on the certain clarity that PDP will win Ondo governorship election on October 10.

Some of the National Dailies including Daily Independent newspaper published the position of Rev. Jenyo on Friday, September 25, 2020. So he could not have made a u-turn over the weekend, in the space of two days.

Rev. Jenyo who comes from Ila Orangun in Central Senatorial District of Osun State has remained a consistent, pragmatic and loyal partyman to the core who cannot exchange his integrity in PDP for anybody’s pot of porridge.

Rev. Jenyo stayed with PDP in 2014 despite the defection of his boss who was then the immediate past Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola. He also refused to follow his political leader, Sen. Iyiola Omisore to Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 2018, to prove his unyielding loyalty and support to the PDP.

Those making the derogatory claim are some disgruntled elements who have become jittery over the soaring popularity across the South West in his re-election bid as the Zonal Secretary of the party.

Those making the wrong, fake and frivolous accusation against Rev. Jenyo could only spread the fake news in the Social Media and blogs because of the fear of prosecution.

“As I said last weekend, PDP will win Ondo State Governorship election in a landslide victory over the ruling APC. All indications have shown that Barr. Eyitayo Jegede will defeat the outgoing governor, Barr. Rotimi Akeredolu with a wide margin because the people of the State, just like Edo, have rejected the APC” Rev. Jenyo emphasized.

Rev Jenyo however said that he has committed his re-election ambition into the hands of GOD and will not allow the enemies of the PDP to blackmail him.
