APETUMODU URGES IPETUMODU ROYAL SISTERS TO BE DEDICATED, DILIGENT

The Apetumodu of Ipetumodu in Osun State, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Prof.) Joseph Olugbenga Oloyede, Latimogun 1 has urged the Royal Sisters in Ipetumodu to be more deligent and dedicated to the ancient town.
This was contained in a statement by the Information Officer of the local government, Olumide Felix and made available to newsmen, at Ipetumodu during the inauguration of Ipetumodu Royal Sisters.
Oba Oloyede has tasked the Royal Sisters not to fight, urging them never to “allow money to be their priority because money is a dangerous weapon that can destroy someone’s life” he said.
He gave the charge in his palace during the Reunion of Ipetumodu Royal Sisters tagged “REUNION IN UNITY”. He also told them to be faithful to one another and to love themselves.
According to him, “_reunions reinforce our common bonds, regenerate our friendships, and reinvigorate our spirits in appreciation of life’s different but parallel journeys, and they must allow peace to reign always”.
“A reunion is an opportunity for the members to reconnect, celebrate with each other and reflect on how to move Ipetumodu forward”, he said.
The President of the Ipetumodu Royal Sisters, Alhaja Fausat Oladapo appreciated the Apetu of Ipetumodu for the Royal support and advice given to them.
Alhaja Oladapo said the purpose of the group was to bring themselves together, helping each other and also to work for the development of Ipetumodu.
“The best message we can give to our society is that it is never too late to learn and grow. No matter how old you are, you can always make a positive impact in the world, so keep working hard and stay curious, because the more you know, the more you can help others”.
“So, please let us join hands together and bring our own town to a greater height” she said.
