COMMISSIONER, MASSES LAUD GOVERNOR ADELEKE AS IMOLE FREE TRAIN ARRIVES OSUN FOR EASTER CELEBRATION
The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo, joined with the masses have eulogized Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for the consistent provision of Imole Free Train Ride.
The Commissioner who attributed the success of Governor Adeleke’s initiatives and policies to his passion, kindness and service to the people, lauded him for his steadfastness in people’s welfare, despite paucity of funds.
He disclosed that Governor Adeleke placed priority on the welfare and happiness of the citizenry, working assiduously towards the progress and development of Osun State and her people.
Recall that the Imole Free Train Ride for the Easter celebration had arrived at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo from the Iddo Terminus, Lagos on Good Friday.
Passengers who alighted in their thousands expressed happiness and satisfaction for the initiative, describing it as an undeniable succour to the citizens with travelling needs, especially during festive periods.
It has become the unshaken gesture of the Osun State government under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke to provide free transportation to Osun State indigenes, who are residing in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo States.
It provides opportunities to the people to celebrate the season with their family and friends, to access the transformation agenda of the Governor in every nook and cranny of Osun State.
According to the Commissioner, “kudos to His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for this lofty initiative, which is in the interest of the Osun people. Mr. Governor has done it again, he continues to put a smile on the faces of his people”.
“No doubt, the people who would have spent a lot of money for transportation, are conveyed from their varying locations to their home State, absolutely free of charge”.
The passengers also expressed their happiness and appreciation to the Governor for the initiative. They promised to support the Governor in his reelection bid, saying the good works must continue.
“The Governor, Ademola Adeleke is doing well. He is indeed a great leader with the potential to go higher to the National level, after his second term as Governor of Osun State. I, my household, friends and loved ones will continue to support him”, a passenger said.
Others prayed fervently for GOD’s strength and enablement to do greater exploits despite the antics and propaganda of the opposition. They also prayed for the continuity of Governor Ademola Adeleke till 2030.
The Imole Free Train Ride, anchored by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry will return the passengers back to Lagos on Easter Monday 6th April, 2026 at 10:00am prompt.
