VILLAGE PEOPLES MOVEMENT VOWS TO SUPPORT GOVERNOR ADELEKE FOR SECOND TERM
Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has been applauded for his giant strides in every sector of the economy of Osun State.
This was the position of the leadership of the Village Peoples Movement, Osun State who paid a working visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo in his office, in the Government Secretariat, Abere recently.
Village Peoples Movement under the leadership of Hon. Olamide Awosunle, former House of Representatives Candidate in Ife Federal Constituency, also vowed to use all within its powers to support Governor Adeleke’s reelection bid.
VPM is into grassroots sensitisation, youth political participation, mobilisation and advocacy as well as political re-orientation and sponsorship of radio sensitisation programmes.
According to the VPM President, Honourable Awosunle said, “having carefully accessed the transformation in every nook and cranny of Osun State by His Excellency, in terms of infrastructure, education, health, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry, we are supporting him wholeheartedly for the second term in office.
In his response, the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr Jenyo appreciated the movement for the visit and urged them to continue in the spirit of love, support and solidarity for Governor Adeleke in his second term bid.
“The people of Osun State are resolute, they are eager to cast their votes for the Accord (A) and the talk-and-do Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, come August 15 governorship polls”, the Commissioner said.
Dr. Jenyo has since linked the VPM support group to the relevant unit of the Ademola Adeleke Campaign Committee for further collaboration.
