BUNMI JENYO CONGRATULATES MUSLIM UMMAH ON EID-EL KABIR CELEBRATION
The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo has congratulated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of 2026 Eid-El Kabir celebration.
The Commissioner stated this in a special Sallah message which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Wednesday.
The Commissioner who charged the people to celebrate in modesty, said everyone should learn about peaceful coexistence, love and sacrifice, exemplified by Prophet Muhammed, for the uplift of the human race.
According to the Commissioner, the holidaymakers who are visiting the State for the celebration of Eid should reflect on the visible transformation agenda of the current administration, led by Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
He urged them to travel round every nook and cranny of the State of the Living Spring, to have on-the-spot-assessment of the projects and one-on-one encounter with the masses.
He also lauded Governor Adeleke for consistent provision of Imole Free Train Ride at festive periods, to ease the transportation burden of Osun citizens, who are residing in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo States.
According to the Commissioner, “Eid Mubarak to all the Islamic Faithfuls across the World and the good people of Osun State. I implore all and sundry to inculcate the spirit of genuine love, passion, resilience and sacrifice, for the development of our people and society, just like Prophet Muhammed (SAW).
“We should also use the opportunity of this period to reflect on the giant strides of our amiable Governor, the Asiwaju of Edeland, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, who is relentless in the transformation agenda of Osun State”.
“We also charge the holidaymakers to confirm the indelible footprints of our Governor in Infrastructure, health, education, agriculture, social welfare and commerce and industry. Nobody has ever done it so well”, he said.
The Commissioner also urged the people of Osun State to continue to support Governor Ademola Adeleke as one good term deserves another.
