NEWSYTES LIMITED INTENDS TO BEGIN WASTE RECYCLING PROJECT AT FREE TRADE ZONE
A renowned UK company, Newsytes Limited, specialising in sustainable technology, circular economy solutions and advanced industrial innovation, together with its international investment partners, has expressed its intention to start a waste recycling project at the Living Spring Free Trade Zone.
Led by the Project Developer and Technology Integrator, Mr. Patrick Jisander, Newsytes Limited, is prepared to use its expertise, experience and reputation to partner with Osun State for the benefit of the good people of Osun State.
The State Government through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry led by the Honourable Commissioner, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo who received the company’s delegation in his office on Wednesday, said that Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is passionate about turning Osun State into a hub of industrialisation, in the South West, Nigeria.
Newsytes Ltd is a registered company founded in 2020, operating under the category “Management Consultancy activities other than Financial Management” specialises in advance recycling and circular economy technologies, Biotechnology and Industrial Bio-systems.
Its other areas of specialisation include Artificial Intelligence (AI) and compute-infrastructure integration, Fintech and Digital infrastructure and Market-entry strategy and partnership development.
Newsytes maintains active strategic engagements across Nigeria in the fields of Fintech, recycling and energy infrastructure. It serves as central orchestrator of project design, technology integration and investor participation for Noll Waste Recycling Project (NWRP).
The NWRP is a zero-emission, high efficiency waste-to-value industrial initiative designed to transform Osun State’s waste management ecosystem. Using advanced pyrolysis and material-recovery technologies, the project converts 18,000 MT of end-of-life Tyres (ELT) annually into valuable products, including Recycled Carbon Black (RCB), Low Fuel Oil (LFO/ pyrolysis oil), syngas and recovered steel. Additional optional modules can process plastics, municipal waste, food waste and medical waste as secondary feedstock streams.
By focusing on ELT as the primary raw material, the facility eliminates uncontrolled tyre dumping and burning, significantly reduces greenhouse-gas emissions, and support Osun State’s strategy for climate innovation, industrial diversification and green job creation.
The State participates directly through equity ownership, benefit-sharing and technology transfer, positioning Osun State as a national leader in circular-economy development and sustainable industrial growth.
While speaking, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo reiterated that the State government will provide land for Newsytes Limited at the Living Spring Free Trade Zone, enabling environment and goodwill required for the successful implementation of the project.
Mr. Patrick Jisander was accompanied by the Area Manager, Nigeria, Mr. Samuel Agiri and Engineer Sunny Oyeyemi to meet with the Commissioner and the Management Team of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
