Osun at 35: Jenyo congratulates Governor Adeleke, people

OSUN AT 35: JENYO CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR ADELEKE, PEOPLE

The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Dr. Bunmi Jenyo has congratulated the Executive Governor and Governor-Elect of Osun State, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke and the people of the State in commemoration of 35th anniversary of the creation of the State of the Living Spring.

This was contained in a statement by the Commissioner, which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Friday.

The Commissioner noted that it has been a long but worthwhile journey of sacrifice, hope and resilience towards the fulfilment of the vision of the founding fathers, who struggled laboriously for the emergence and sustenance of a people well cultured in cultural and human values.

He specifically congratulated the Asiwaju of Edeland, Governor Ademola Adeleke for his enduring legacies and the opportunity to consolidate on his invaluable governance innovations, that is bringing a lifelong enjoyment of democracy dividends for all Osun residents, and beyond.

“Governor Adeleke is a blessing, who the Almighty GOD has sent to Osun, to liberate not only the State and her people, but also Nigerians who are desirable of good governance, exemplary leadership and equity in developmental strides for all, despite challenges, intimidation and the antics of naysayers”, the Commissioner was quoted as saying.

According to the Commissioner, “the world is proud of the Osun people today, not because of our 35 years of experience, growth and development but our maturity, courage and resourcefulness towards a collective resolve to building a society worthy of emulation. Osun people are wonderful and are indeed celebrated”.

He charged the residents of the State to continue to pray and stand solidly behind Governor Adeleke, to make the journey of Osun State fulfilling and commensurate with the years of existence.
