CELICA CHURCH OF CHRIST WORLDWIDE CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR ADELEKE ON RE-ELECTION
The Spiritual Head of Celica Church of Christ Worldwide, Revd. (Dr.) Emmanuel Adetunji Adeonigbagbe, has congratulated His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election as Governor of Osun State.
Revd. Adeonigbagbe described the victory as a clear expression of the will of the people and a renewal of the trust placed in the Governor to deliver purposeful, people-centred leadership for another term.
“Your re-election is a call to deepen the dividends of democracy, entrench good governance, and fast-track development across Osun State,” the Spiritual Head said.
He urged the Governor to always appreciate God for the opportunity to serve, and to govern the people of Osun with the fear of God and sincerity, in gratitude to the citizens who returned him for a second term.
Revd. Adeonigbagbe further charged the Governor to work towards restoring Osun to the glorious heights it attained in commerce, industry, tourism, arts and culture during the 1970s and 1980s, when the State was a leading centre in those sectors.
“As a Church committed to nation-building, Celica Church of Christ Worldwide will continue to support efforts that promote peace, unity, equity and inclusive growth,” he added.
The Spiritual Head prayed for divine wisdom, guidance and good health for the Governor as he discharges his duties over the next four years.
“On behalf of Celica Church of Christ Worldwide, we assure Your Excellency of our unceasing prayers as you strive to build a more prosperous, peaceful and united Osun State for all residents, irrespective of political or religious affiliation,” he stated.
