Don’t lose hope in 2021, Osun Monarch charges Nigerians

DON’T LOSE HOPE IN THE NEW YEAR, OSUN MONARCH CHARGES NIGERIANS

The Eburu of Iba, Oba (Prof) Adekunle Adeogun Okunoye Oyedeji 11 has urged Nigerians to strive to achieve greater heights in the new year 2021, just as he urged them not to lose hope in the new year.

He urged the people not to be depressed by the events of the year 2020, as he opined that the new year is full of many potentials.

In his new year message, the royal father urged the people to work hard in the new year and expect great results in the year.

Oba Okunoye who is a renowned educationist and Information Communication Technology (ICT) expert implored Nigerians not to lose hope in the country, stressing that “there is hope for Nigeria to rise as giant in economy, commerce and industry in the year 2021.”

He said “if we want to make outstanding progress in our endeavours and life, we must not jettison the need for hard work, perseverance and dedication to duty.”

Also, the traditional ruler who charged well meaning Nigerians to extend hands of fellowship to the less privileged in the society, also urged government at all levels to see to the plights of the people instead of politicising issues that are affecting the welfare of the masses.

“Those at the corridors of power today must be reminded to rather look into the plights of their people and provide succour for them, at this critical time, instead of indulging in selfishness and personal aggrandizement, only to gain political scores” the monarch said.
